My Soap is Itchy!!!!!

I made some soap last night and while i was unmoulding it today it actually made my hands a bit itchy!!!

Could this be from maybe adding too much fragrance? (which i admit i think i did - wasn't thinking when i added it!)

Also, this is the first time i have added titanium dioxide (think thats what its called - the white stuff :lol:

) so i thought i might have added too much of that too...

Other than that the base is the same great m&p base i always use so im a bit clueless and any ideas would be great

Sounds like it could be the fragrance. Do you use a scale?

as in a scale to weigh the oils? no :oops:

should i? i just use teaspoon measurers

You might be allergic to the Titanium if you haven't used it before.

that idea crossed my mind too Pops1

ok so today i touched the soap again - had to move it - and i didnt get itchy so i have no idea whats going on with it.

its pretty much useless soap now isnt it, or can i remelt and try again?

Since it's MP, yes you can remelt. Try adding to that half as much more MP, then melt it all together.
