Trying to figure out why my latest soaps came out rubbery

I used BBs Ocean Rain, Deep Blue Mica & Super Pearly White Mica

In the first batch, I mixed the mica into some rubbing alcohol and used a flexusmold ... you can easily bend the soap nearly in half. I was thinking that maybe I either used a little to much rubbing alcohol or it was the mold (which is a really flexy plastic, almost rubber) b/c I always mix my mica into rubbing alcohol but have never used this mold before

Sooo, I remade it same FO & Micas but using NO rubbing alcohol (except one spray on top when done to pop the bubbles) and a mold I've used several times with no problems .... the soap is still bendy

Is it the FO? Has anyone else had this problem with Ocean Rain? I used it at 3% which is what I do all my FOs at (unless they are uber strong FOs)

MP soap does get rubberry with repeated melting. Rubbing alcohol evaporates, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I've had this happen, too, when using lots of mica in a white base - Lavender from BB is the worst culprit. It almost seizes as I'm pouring, and the cooled texture is oddly spongy :/ I found that if I give it a quick zap post-coloring to warm it back up, it flows better & loses the rubbery feel.
