Teach Soap

I don't want to stick my pipettes in the dishwasher 1)not even sure if they are dishwasher safe so 2)afraid they may melt or warp and 3) they are so light I'd probably end up losing them in the bottom
However, when I just used warm soapy water it took forever for them to dry out completely and still smell of the FOs I used...I probably really don't have to worry about that but I'm not sure .... comments, thoughts, suggestions? All info is much appreciated

Plastic pipets are usually meant to be disposable.

However... if you rinse them right away, before the soap hardens inside with hot water then you can get all the soap out pretty easily and get another use or two out of them.

If you just use them for fragrance you can clean them the same way, but the smell will probably hang around. If you use pipets a lot then you may to invest in a glass set...

That's kind of what I was afraid of lol ... I was hoping since I was just using them for FOs that I could get more use out of them but I guess I had a temporary brain fart about the properties of plastic haha

I normally buy 50 at a time or whatever the amount that BB offers for like $5. Then when I start to run low, I just tape them to the bottle of FO that I used it for. Then I don't worry about running out or mixing scents or rinsing them.

That is a great money saving idea of taping or rubber banding the pipettes to the FO.

I have put some in the dishwasher with no problems so far as it becomes costly to keep purchasing them. Plus, I feel better about them being sanitized after being in the dishwasher to prevent contamination. Again, I will be using the rubber band method suggested by BB.

FO left over on the pipettes will over time melt the thin plastic, which could end up in your product. They really should be used only once, then thrown away. They were not meant for long term use.
