I am loving the goat's milk base and want to make a soft pink bar next. I didn't get any colorants last time and this time I am going to, lol. I was wondering if the Rose Pearl mica would make it a soft pink? Thanks!

It will be more of a beigey pink due to the goat's milk.

If you want a pink color, I'd go with:

Pink Oxide - http://www.brambleberry.com/Ultramarine ... P4039.aspx Goes a super light pink (you can see from the color how light it is)

Fuscia Labcolor - http://www.brambleberry.com/Fuschia-LabColor-P3014.aspx - this stays a nice light pink if you a. dilute it before using and b. remember that what you see is what you get so just add it in slowly, before the fragrance, to ensure you get the perfect color for you.

I was wondering if the pink oxide would be the next choice- I do want it light, so I think I will get that one. Thanks Anne-Marie!

This may have been answered somewhere else but can you tell me if you can imbed one kind of soap into a different kind of soap? For example, can I imbed Goats Milk Soap into glycerine soap and vice versa? Sorry to hijack the thread but with over 7000 posts on this forum I wasn't sure how to go about finding if it had been asked and answered before!

Hi PurpleMolly,

I am new to MP, but believe I have read on this forum or seen in an Ann Marie show that you should only use MP's from the same company when mixing types for best (predictable) results. If you haven't watched the Soap Queen tutorials certainly try to find time - she has great tips on making multi-layer or embedded MP soaps - but be prepared to get totally excited about the design possibilities with MP!! She also has lots of tips that help make your first efforts a total success.
