How would I know that on below pointed website the colors are non bleeding or bleeding?

Do they have an e-mail, may be just ask them directly if those colors are non bleeding

Thanks, I asked and got the answer:

These colourants will bleed if used in water based products. The water based pigments will not bleed but should not be used in clear products and not in bath bombs/bath salts.


So it is not a good idea to use them in M&P base?
I have opaque soap base and crystal natural...
What will happen if I still use that kid of colorants?

I don't think the vendor meant MP as a water based base. So the colorants would bleed. I would try her pigments since she says they do not bleed. Just don't use the pigments in a product like a clear linen spray or a spray on perfume.

I would say they're bleeding.. because, for her other pigments, she notes that they're non-bleeding. Only buy if it says non-bleeding.

If you're in the UK, check out the pigments and lakes section at www.thesoapkitchen.co.uk or the non-bleeding colours at www.sensoryperfection.co.uk (also excellent for FOs).

Alternatively you can try micas which Sensory Perfection also sells (along with ultramarines and oxides).

My rule is that if it doesn't say it's non-bleeding, it's probably a little bleeder!
