Silicone mold fragrance sticking?

I just got some of the nifty bite sized brownie molds from Amazon. Made a batch using some Love Spell Type fragrance and instantly loved silicone molds for how easy they release. Then after cleaning the mold I noticed I could still smell the fragrance. In fact, 3 days later I can still smell it a little. Is this a common thing for Silicone molds? Will the fragrance transfer to other soap I make in that mold?

I got that same mold. I haven't had the fragrance (that I can still smell in the mold) to transfer to other soaps.

I agree. This has happened to me as well and I have never had any 'scent mixing'.

Things like this is why we always recommend to keep food and soap dishes separate! =)

If you were using the lasagna dish you should have made soap with a basil EO

Well, I'm all out of soap base and waiting on my next shipment. 40 pounds should be here next week :shock:
