Hi there! I know this has been covered before but the threads were wildly different so thought I'd ask the question again.
Are you able to add goat's milk to Melt & Pour Base? If so, what type of gm and how would you add it? I read in the earlier posts that some said it went mouldy yet others swore by it so I ended up being totally confused!!
I've got UHT (Longlife) Goat's Milk and was considering adding it to clear M & P.
Any hints and tips would be more than welcome!!

Since MP is already saponified, I wouldn't do it. The milk can go sour and moldy in long term. Milk works best in soaps that need to saponify like CP.

Perhaps some powdered GM in your M&P? I believe it gives the soap a slight roughness, but if this isn't an issue, it could be the way to go. Blend with a small amount of glycerin or some of the melted soap, then add to the rest of the melt.

Thank you SueBre. I've not been able to find any powdered GM so have given away my long life GM to a healthy friend and am just going to keep purchasing the premade GM soap!!
