I tried using a mini loaf pan as a mold. It's not flexible so I lined it with wax paper in order to get the soap out. It worked to remove the soap, but I've got all sorts of strange wrinkles and ragged edges on my bars now and I don't like it. I want to remelt the soap and try again with a different mold. Is it possible to do this after I've added color and fragrance? I am thinking about chopping up the bars and following the same method as if I had a new block of melt-and-pour base. Will the soap set up again if I do that? Or is there another method I should try in order to recycle the soap I don't like? Any tips are appreciated.

You can remelt it once more. Do it gently so it doesn't overheat. Wax paper is not an ideal liner for MP soap.

I agree. MP can be remelted a couple times and still be fine. Just make sure to not overheat (like Soapbuddy said) because this can cause your FO to evaporate out as well as other liquids from the MP leaving it dry and crumbly. If you cover your dish with saran wrap while melting it will help. :D
