Hello Ladies!

Is it OK to put the heavy duty plastic molds made by SpinningLeaf and carried by BrambleBerry OK to put in the dishwasher (top rack, of course!).

I've never tried that but I would be too afraid that the mold would crack or melt a little. I usually just hand wash them with a rag to get all of the fragrance and drops of soap left on it off.

I've been afraid of warping any molds in the dishwasher, but you could to see if they have any tips for care and washing.

guess it depends on how hot your water gets as well

the water in my apartment pretty much comes out boiling so putting in the dishwasher would cook my molds for sure

I wash mine by hand only. I use a little liquid dish soap and a clean sponge. That seems to get them sparkly clean!

Hi. I can tell you from experience - *only* hand wash. I was very tired sometime last week (and got lazy) - put 3 molds (2 tubes and a milky way mold) into the dishwasher - pretty sure it was the top rack - but it doesn't matter at this point. The two circular molds - one turned more oval and the other cracked. I can salvage the 'oval' one but even then it's got some odd indentations. It's not completely wasted but I would likely use it to color one kind of soap, push it out and then cut it up into chunks or shavings or something. The milky way mold survived (thankfully) but some of it got this weird foggy spots on it. Doesn't ruin the soap or affect the shape in the mold but it's no longer 100% clear all around. Lesson learned
