I am slipping into the bigger leagues now. I just went up from those sample 1 oz. and some 2 oz. fragrance jars from BB to 4 ozs - OH MY

So - while it may be obvious to just recycle the brown bottles I'm curious to know what uses I'm overlooking with them before I put them in the recycle bin.

Hmmmmmmmm my first thoughts would be to clean them out thorougly and then use some for maybe combining fragrances or some for making facial oils or serums or something? There's got to be a use for them.

I saw an idea at a dollar store today (where I bought up a bunch of sand castle molds for bath bomb making!)--they had mini reed diffusers. Instead of the big glass bottles for the fragrance, they had smaller amber (or another) colored glass bottles. I just glanced at them when I passed by, but I'm pretty sure they were 1 oz. glass. I've never done reed diffusers so I don't know how well or how long those would work, but it might be fun to try.

If it's a fragrance that you like, add some fractionated coconut oil to the bottle, mix it with what fragrance is left over in there and use it as a perfume. Then you can recycle.

I use mine for blending EO's and I make several custom blends. Then when I need that scent it's ready to go.

We had a flood in our basement last Saturday so I recycled tonnes of them and just kept a few for blends.
