I create soaps that are two colors with a raised top...such as dinosaurs and flip flops. I was having a horrible time with only the raised portion of the bar sweating under the saran wrap...They ONLY sweat when wrapped and only the raised portion was sweating.... Which puzzled me to no end...
I had thought soaps only sweat when they weren't wrapped....guess not....
I solved the problem when I realized that the no bleed colorant I was using, was dispersed in glycerin , which meant that I was adding more glycerin to the soap that I used to create the raised portion of the soap.
Once I realized what perhaps was causing the problem, I purchased a low sweat glycerin base for use in my dino bars and flip flops and then I added my colorant as usual...voila! no more sweating under the plastic wrap...
Has anyone else experienced this?
