 Post subject: can i add?

i am still trying to get rid of the not so nice m & p base i have, can i add glycerin to it, it is just drying to use, so i am the only one using it and i don't like it. it makes me reach for the hand lotion as soon as i dry my hands. any thoughts? ideas? help please, thank you in advance/jan

If you add more glycerin it will most likely make the MP base sticky. You could try adding a very small amount of a base oil (olive, coconut etc...) or butter like shea or mango.

I'd buy a top notch base like SFIC and cut the drying base into it 'til it's gone, no more than a 4:1 ratio (4 SFIC:1Dry).
