This kit does make a pretty soft bar of soap. I would definitely recommend a flexible mold for these. Here is a link to our flexible soap molds page; http://brambleberry.com/molds_flex.html. I found that for this cream soap recipe the molds with less detail work better and are easier to remove. :D

Interesting! So it's just MP and some sort of a lotion?
I make cream soap myself, but it's a combo on KOH and Naoh.

It's like a creamy soap - so it doesn't lather much but it definitely cleans and you don't have to moisturize when you're done using it. It's a very nice option for an all-in-one lotion and soap. And, bonus, it totally is wonderful to shave with!
