I made a loaf and wanted the rough style top like you see a lot in CP and HP. So I whipped the soap a bit after getting it down to about 115 degrees so it would thicken a bit. All went well but when I was cutting the bars I noticed the top was attached well, but it is a bit squishy. It's not falling apart and it's not like insanely squishy, but you can feel it when you press on it. This isn't going on in the rest of the soap, just the top. So I can only assume it's from the whipping. Is there something I can do to prevent this in future batches?

It's the air that's whipped into it. I don't know of a way to fix it. I prefer to use embeds on top.
