Hi, I usually don't do very much melt and pour, but it's Valentines week and I had a great idea to imbed red hearts in clear melt and pour. Silly me thinking this would be a breeze cause it's melt and pour.

There is a space between the hearts and the clear layer that has bubbles of air. I poured a layer, put the hearts on top of that after it cooled, and poured ther rest over that. Somehow air got trapped inside.

Did you spray the first layer with alcohol and then put your hearts and then spray with alcohol again before pouring your second layer? That would be my guess as to the problem with the air bubbles.

OK I did it again spraying with alchohol, and two did OK, the other one got bubbles. I try to press down a bit for it to stick, it's so slippery. Also one of the hearts sort of bled a bit. Too hot temps?

Ok, going to try again. I'm using red oxide for the red hearts. I'm going to try the insert method by spraying both first layer and embed and then push it down at an angle. Hopefully, I'll have some pictures to share soon.
