I made some coffee soap using m&p. While it came out perfect it did not have the strong coffee scent I was going for. I checked BB for a coffee fo but did not find one. I'm wondering if I could add a small amount of coffee butter to my m&p. Would that make it smell more like coffee while adding a bit more moisturizing properties? Would it make the bars too soft and if so is there a way too combat that? Steric acid?

Thank you

Heather

For a coffee scent, I would use Turkish Mocha. http://www.brambleberry.com/Turkish-Moc ... P3353.aspx
Adding butter could hinder bubbles if you go above 1 TBSP per lb. of base. The butter won't add more scent. The fragrance oil will. Don't add stearic acid! It will make the bar feel waxy.

If you don't want straight coffee Chocolate Espresso from BB is a good one! I love it to death and it blends nicely with tons of other fragrance oils. :D
