Hi,

I am just about to buy some fragrances for my melt and pour bases. I had some experiences with seizing and discolouring when working with CP.
I wonder what should I be aware of in order not to have problems wiht MP when fragranced. I have heard about the smoke effect in clear base - Is there any chance to know that when buying a fragrance for the first time? I only use translucent and white bases. What can I expect for MP if the fragrance is described with "quick seizing" for CP? Descriptions are usually only for CP - does this mean that MP should not expect any trouble when using that fragrance?

The only problems I've ever had with FO's in MP is color change. They don't get seizing, ricing, etc. like CP does.

If it's a color changer it will most likely change the color of your MP as well. Although I have found that some FO's that get really dark in CP, don't reach that same darkness in MP.
