I am a newbie and just made second batch yesterday. Using a stick blender. Is it possible to go beyond trace and the batch was thick and difficult to get in molds. Anyway to correct or will it still turn out ok?

This portion of the forum is for MP glycerin soaps. You will have better luck posting your question Here> viewforum.php?f=2

You need to stick blend the soap just long enough that if you take your stick blender out, the consistency will be like medium gravy. If you go into the thick pudding stage, the soap will be hard to pour into your mold. Next time don't let the mixture get so thick. If the soap gelled, you should be fine. Cut it when it's hard enough to cut and give it a 4-6 week cure time.
