Hi everyone, I am a cold process soaper however I have bought some melt and pour to do with my 11year old daughter who is really wanting to try her hands at it! Do most the same rules apply to this as CP, FO/EO amounts, pouring temps,do you need to cure it? Any specifics I should know before I start:0)

Thanks

Chop the MP into cubes. You can use a microwave safe glass to melt. Melt the MP in spurts till only a few chunks remain. Then slowly stir til all of it melts. You can spritz the soap with alcohol to help get rid of bubbles. Add color and fragrance (the same as CP soap), pour into a mold, let harden, then pop out. MP is safe to use as soon as it hardens. There is no cure time. Have fun!

Oh what a great activity to do with kids! It's much easier like soap buddy said. Melt, scent, color and pour! No curing and the BB bases feel so good on the skin! I hope you post pictures on how they turn out!
