Teach Soap

I've started working on the design I want to make for my boyfriend, future father in law, and my dads soap gift. I let my boyfriend pick the bases since he has the most sensitive skin of everyone (my poor baby suffers under store bought factory soap oppression ). He decided he wants aloe Vera base and olive oil base. The aloe Vera is one I already decided on before so I know how I'll make that design. The olive oil makes me a teeny bit nervous. I wanted to make a back tea scented soap with a black color to resemble the black tea look. Is the olive oil base going to change the color or smell? I haven't come across any soap queen tutorials where she used olive oil base and I'm afraid it will ruin the color or scent.

Adding tea as a liquid into any MP base will make it softer. I don't think it will add much scent. Depending which black color you use and how much, it could potentially stain a wash cloth and/or have gray bubbles.

Yes, be very light handed with black micas. You will end up with black bubbles. Not that I know anything about that.....
