Teach Soap

So my BB package is coming this Tuesday and already my cart is filled with my next project! I am planning to make chocolate hearts with a chocolatey drizzle on it.

So I picked that 6 heart BB mold (the red one if you don't know) and that's about all I can settle on. Due to my boyfriend suddenly deciding he is Mr. Picasso of soap now he is asking questions and putting his I put in! No surprise but he does have good judgement.

First issue is we can't settle on a fragrance. It's between Dark Chocolate FO, Chocolate Espresso FO, or Chipotle Caramel FO. Phil thinks Chipotle Caramel isn't a good one but I think it works.

Also he's wondering how I'm going to put the drizzle on. We go back and forth on this. One idea is to do the drizzle in the mold and after it hardens pouring the "chocolate" base. The other is making plain hearts and then putting the drizzle over after it's been popped out of the mold.


I'd like creative insight from soap experts. Mr. Picasso doesn't qualify as an expert yet

Personally I love coffee, so the Chocolate Espresso FO would be my choice. I would drizzle the MP over the top once hearts are done.

I agree with Irena on the drizzle part, but not the FO. I would use dark chocolate.

Thanks for the suggestions. Does anyone know of a good color or color combo to make a caramel heart? I think I'm gonna try all 3 hearts with slight color variation to tell them apart.

You could mix red and green to get brown, then add some yellow for the caramel color. If it's too dark add some white.

How do you drizzle for M&P? It looks amazing in the photo!

Designing one thing is extremely difficulties it will be something, take a example of fragrance bottle we tend to all love fragrance, however did ever specialise in the bottle and regarding the look it take most time to style.
