Teach Soap

So, I have my first commission! Guest soaps for wedding favors. I want to embed the violet-scented miniature violet soaps (guess what her name is?) in clear glycerin squares that are all sparkly inside.
Can I use BB's heavy gold mica? And if so, do I wait for the first layer to get a skin, then sprinkle on the mica, then pour a second layer at a coolish temperature and pray? If I spray with alcohol, I'm afraid the mica will break up and bleed into the clear soap. If I don't, the layers won't adhere.
Or do I need to buy glitter?
