Teach Soap

Well even though i think i will love cp and later hp soap making i want to ease my self into it so i will be starting with mp i will be soon going to bb and making my first order. i would love to get a little of everytrhing i no it best to jus make your first batch but since this is my me treat i need to get everything now. so what is a good starter kit. that i need to make sure i have in my first order?????

Well, assuming you have nothing you will want to get a soap base, colorant (i suggest the nonbleeding color blocks), fragrance (start with a small bottle until you know you like the scent), and a mold. If you are planning on layering, embeds, etc you should also get a temp gun. Pipettes are really useful for your fragrances. You may also want to get a soap cutter. You can always use a knife, but you get more drag marks with the knife than you do with a soap cutter. You will also want to get separate kitchenware for your soaps ie measuring cups, spoons, grater, peeler. I am sure I have forgotten something LOL

This is a gorgeous project kit for Honeycomb Soap (). It has a 12 bar silicone mold, which is great to have for future projects.

If you wanted to create your own projects, then I'd recommend:
