Hi

im pretty new to melt and pour and still learning how to do it right now im trying to put some lettering into the side of it but cant seem to do it

does anyone have any tips that might be the best way to do this

I believe BrambleBerry carries or used to carry dissolvable paper. You might want to check out their site.

They may have poured a thin, flat, sheet of black soap which they then used cookie cutters on to cut out the letters & card symbols. Then stuck the letters to the side of the mold with a bit of clear MP before pouring/embedding the rest. Just a guess.

How to get them to stand up on the side like that? Position them and then pour a thin later of clear MP and let it dry so they'll stay in place before pouring the rest - helps to make sure embeds don't move/fall/float
