Teach Soap

I made some forest green mp clear soap bars with poppy seeds in it, scented with patchouli and vetiver eo. The fragrance is wonderful, very earthy, and my boyfriend loves it. For the next bars, I'm thinking about adding some dried ground tea, directly form the bags, to give some "into the woods" visual appeal. Will I get mold?

You won't get mold, but it will be brown.

Brown spots will not be a problem: they could add some groundcover look to the soap, which is what I'm looking for.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but when I add coffee beans to clear MP soap, the coffee bleeds and makes it look ugly. I learned if I put the beans in my coffee filter and run it through the brew process a few times - it really helps to keep the brown color from bleeding. Maybe brew the tea, then dry the leaves back out and use?

I've used chamomile tea leaves in MP and didn't have any problem with bleed.
