Leave it to Armond of Chase Holding molds he's come up with a few new classic works of art for soap molds. Recently I got his Munch's "The Scream" and I finally got a chance to work on it today. It took me an hour and a half JUST mixing soap colors/shades (15) and finally I was ready to start. Took me a few minutes to figure out what element/color to start with but since black was found in 3 of the 4 quadrants I figured that would help me place the rest of the colors in the proper perspective.

I FAILED! I'm laughing now because it's pretty funny but just before I was about to add in the lake, one of the last steps, I realized that the space I'd left for it was completely inverted. No matter how good/bad this attempt turns out it's gonna be WRONG. hahahahaha *snort*
Lesson learned?
If you're going to attempt to reproduce a work of art in a soap mold print a museum quality image AFTER inverting it (flip it so it looks the same as your mold). ugh
hehe, I may actually end up having to paint it, as there are so many shades. But just to show you guys that I can make a mess just like anyone I'm gonna post "The Scream Disaster." oh the irony ;p

Hahahahaha, I Suck! It's a great mold so I shall try painting next time. ;p
I put up a 2nd attempt as I won't have time to paint today but thank you guys so much for seeing what I totally fail to see. After talking with a friend who has a degree in art (painting) and having her INSIST she get all 4 versions, I sent the 2nd Image to Armond and told him to use the images at his discretion.
I will just trust that some like them and some don't (consider me one of the latter)! hehehe Thanks to all of you who tried to cheer me up. MWAH!
