thanks Aria for your secret open )
This is mine: I cook ground coffee in the coffee pot, then make myself a cup of coffee and then take the ground and wash it like 15 times through the tea strainer, then let it dry for a few days and put it in the plastic well lid container and only then I use it and it doesn't smell bad.

the scent is Jasmine Vanillia and color is clear with a light green to pop out the tattoo. Plan on making boy ones soon. sorry it it looks cloudy its the shrink wrap hate my camera and gram had the table where my studio is set up with something she was doing so I had to shrinkwrap them soon after making them.

Hope you enjoy...

Okay...here are my first attempts. Well, actually, my second attempts. (My first attempts were with trying to melt Ivory soap and add a few things...not such a good result...usable, but, not the best.) Anyway, here goes-

Lilac scented. Colored with food coloring...lol. Hey, I was desperate! :D (Oh, and can you tell I made the mistake of using a cupcake pan for a mold? Couldn't get the soaps out so I slid a toothpick down the sides of the soaps to loosen them.  )

Image

Coffee Mocha. With coffee grounds and cocoa powder. My kids and I LOVE this one...although I can't really smell the coffee, just the chocolate. (Sorry, it was already packaged when I took the pic.) (Another mold oopsie...I used little glass bowls. Glass does NOT make for a good mold. Just sayin'.)

Image

My first imbedding attempt. I didn't use any colors in this one (except for the tiny top layer) b/c I needed some bars as mild as possible for my eczema. This one was so fun!

And here they are all packaged up. I was having fun designing a label. I would love to get into a business with soap making some day!

Nice soap, Melissa! I love the idea of a tattoo soap!

Pretty soaps, NBSoaper! Chunky embed soaps are fun to make. I love your packaging - it's so cute!

Frist I'd like to say welcome to the forum . Secondly those are good looking soaps for being new to soaping. and we all started somewhere. and even some people still soap for the sheer fun of creating something great. remember silicone is your friend. if you got questions or need feedback this is the place for that too. two things I've learned.. take lots and lots of notes. and second start a folder just for personal use of other people soap pictures. I use those pictures as inperation and ideas. but dont post others stuff. though I've never posted others stuff. because at some point you MAY run out of ideas and need some insight. thank you soapbuddy for that tip. and soap queen's videos are good too. but the most imporant thing is have fun.
