I love everything about this forum! I'm having so much fun learning and trying out new ideas! The black soap is really cool ShinyCat - I've been thinking about more masculine products for my bf and brother and that looks so nice...

Along those lines, check out my packaging reuse for bath salts - my bf has been taking Epsom Salt baths for skin issues, and to make it slightly more appealing for him I put the bath salts in a bourbon bottle :)

Also, I made stocking stuffer lip balms for Christmas this year. So fun!

Like the neapolitan theme and you have very nice labels.

Here's one I've been working on for Spring. It's scented in White Tea & Ginger and has ground green tea through out.
I don't really like the way the tea feels when using, so I think I might leave it out.
Picture's just a rough draft, so it's a little fuzzy. I'm making some more in pastel/springy colors & different tea scents (Chamomile, Iced Tea, Raspberry, etc)

Pauline ~ Love the cupcake soap. If you wouldn't have said it was soap, I would have thought it was a real cupcake. Looks delicious.

Purple Molly it is a floral fragrance that I don't recall, when I get to the soaping room I'll look it up. Most likely a blend, I love blends. Named French Lingerie just for fun. Moonlight Pomegranate BB blends with so many of my combinations.

Happy year of the Rabbit 2011 (symbolic of peace and grace).

That's a very nice soap Mella. Did you get the crackling effect from titanium dioxide?

here is a description of that soap and a better pic! LOL

The texture just happened I soapbuddy from the cook. There is very very little td in this soap. ETA just two small scoops in 32 ounces of oils.

Okay, nothing "special" but here is my first soap embedded in soap. I was proud that it came out well. I figured out why my layers didn't work the other day, as last night I tried another thermometer after trying to figure out why the soap wasn't hitting 120 degrees...the thermometer is off...by 10-25 degrees. Yes, so you can imagine! I made this by doing white M&P with yellow labcolor, then embedded it in clear M&P and added in my glitter! I thought it came out pretty well for my first soap in soap attempt. I'll keep you posted on my adventure in soaping! :)
