Absolutely gorgeous wedding cake! Those lilies are just unbelievable! I don't know how they do it with the large photos either ... I can only post little ones too!!
Newbie nerves don't go away ... I get them every time I try something different!!! Always tell myself just to get in there and have a go ... it's only soap!!! lol

Purple Molly (why Purple ... ?!) and mornings322 ... you're so right! It's that 'Oh My God!' feeling whenever you present something to someone, or feel you have to justify the fragrance, or the shape, or the colour ... or simply the fact that's it's not wrapped in a supermarket wrapper! But, as PM said, It's Only Soap - and you know what you're doing, so stand tall and sell that soap ... !

Your cake so beautiful! Lovely colors, execution just gorgeous! Did you give a set of carving instructions to the new couple? Curious minds, I don't think I could ever cut it.

I agree that we can be very hard on ourselves when it comes to the soaps we make. Other people look at them and marvel at the effort put in (if they are soapers) or are just amazed at the fact that it's soap (non-soapers)! Be proud of whatever you create ... even if it's not how you expected - sometimes ESPECIALLY if it's not what you expected - and just be glad that you can create something new and original! I think we all deserve a pat on the back (go on ... do it now!) because we dare to dream and then make that dream a reality!

Hey, thanks for the sermon Purple Molly! It was very heartfelt and spot on. I love your watermellon soap. There is not much food soap that I dream to make but lemons and watermellon are on my list. I will not the date of this post and come back to it when the time is right.

PS - Know what goes great with purple? ORANGE. I just love a purple and orange sunset. We are headed into winter, soon I will have glitter snow again!
