Teach Soap

Carrie, I've been doing MP for around 20 years, and I find it no where near as addicting as CP! You can be super creative with it, and develop the most wonderful colours, but I don't find you get that proud "I made this" feeling as much. Maybe its just because I've been doing it for so long? LOL

I think M&P will be addicting for me. I can't CP cause of health issues and my mom forbidding me from doing it in the house.

I will be using the double broiler method to melt my soap as that is what the book i read recommended. I can't wait to get all of my supplies and molds and start playing.

I pushed back a class and have 2 weeks to play. My box from Nature's Garden get's here on Wed's and then hopefully the second box for smelly jellies will arrive on Friday.

Yeah I have lots of molds coming and will be having fun. I ordered 4 pounds of clear base, 5 scents and 2 bottles of dye. That box will be here tomorrow and then on Thursday the stuff for the smelly jellies i ordered, a case of jars and a scent.

Mom ordered the crystals and a scent. so soon I will be making smelly jellies again and maybe delve into other bath and body stuff.

1 tsp. of glycerin is fine to mix your color in. As far as the actual color, that depends. 1 tsp. might be too much for some colors, ok for micas and definitely too much for FD&C or D&C colorants.
