Just FYI, using epsom salt or dead sea salt might result in a soft soap or one that sweats. Also make sure your base isn't too hot when you pour or your salt will melt and don't add too much salt to your base or you lose lather. The MP salt bar recipe I tried and posted here on the forum a while back (Thanks for the link Jenny!) where I mixed like-CP MP base and foaming bath whip (both from BB) together with salt to makes a hard CP-like salt bar which produces a rich lotion-like lather with small bubbles. Some people got mixed results with my recipe though because they used different bases and/or salts - I used table salt and medium grain sea salt in different batches with good results.
If anyone is interested in a lovely salt and MP recipe, SoapyLove has a lovely tutorial using 2 different types of salt and shredded loofah in one of her SoapyLove ezines.
http://soapylove.bigcartel.com/product/ ... april-2011 She calls it a Floral Spa bar. She also discusses different types of salts in this issue. Her ezines are chock full of info, tutorials and tips. Hope this helps.
