Hello!

I need help/opinions on the best containers for solid sugar scrub cube containers? Something light weight/cheap so it doesn't add a lot of shipping weight or cost mark up in price.

I tried putting 3-6 in little cello bags with a twist tie ribbon and they got easily squished around and sweated inside the bag which made them all damp. I thought about shrink wrapping them but then where does the person store the rest of them once they've cut it open?

Any container ideas and links to purchase would be appreciated!

But since the cubes are individual use, if you shrink wrap - what do they store them in once it's ripped open? Wrapping seemed the easiest/cheapest solution, but that's what concerned me.

I just made my first batch of sugar scrub cubes for Christmas gifts and used an 8 ounce plastic bail wire jar. I know you want to use a bag or something like that but I just don't know of anything strong enough other than a jar or sturdy plastic box of some sort.

I've used the cube clamshells before. Worked pretty good. I'd just pour the mix into the clamshell, let them cool off and then close the cover, slap a label on it & they were good to go. They hold up during shipping wonderfully.

Oh I don't mind plastic - I just didn't want glass or metal because it's expensive to ship.

Clamshell sounds like a great idea, then I don't have to cut them either! :D Does BB have good prices for those or know of a good link to purchase? :)

I don't think BB carries them. I'd check your usual suppliers first. They usually cost close to the same everywhere, it's the shipping cost that's going to be different.
I know that Natures Garden & Elements Bath and Body both carry them at pretty good prices.
Candlescience has them in a few different sizes http://www.candlescience.com/containers/clamshells.php/

Clamshells are usually just referred to any of the plastic containers with a hinged lid or snap shut lid. Can be one big empty square or those smaller 6 square shapes - I see those used to wax tart melts the most. :)
