 Post subject: BB GM Base OK?

I just went to make some soap with my GM base from BB. I always take chunks off the top and then the bottom, I just was cutting some and the bottom is all white. You can scratch the white off with a fingernail, you can see where I scratched some off near the top with a knife. It covers the entire bottom of the block. 2nd pic is off my hands after wiping it, a little blurry, but hard to take pics with my left hand I guess :) Is this normal? It wasn't on my last block. Can I still use it?

That is the titanium dioxide. I'm guessing it was the end of a batch and it really settled. Let me know if it doesn't mix in easily for you when it's fully melted; if it doesn't, we'll get it replaced and fixed up in a jiffy.
