Teach Soap

Hello,
I'm already stressing about Christmas. I really want to do mostly homemade gifts for the women that I have to buy for. I am getting the Holiday Kit(soap & fizzies) from BB. I am also going to make a Body Butter from BB to give as gifts. I've looked on SoapQueen for more ideas, but I'm not finding a whole lot as far as m&p Christmas soap ideas. I love the ornament soap with the glitter. Could I do that in a 3D mold basically the same way?
I would love any ideas that you have. Thank you so much for your help!

I am doing a foot basket for ladies in my family. A peppermint/eucalyptus foot fizzie soak, a peppermint/eucalyptus foot scrub and then a peppermint butter.. I have tried the scrub with epsom salt and it feels so good. I am putting the fizzie in a small cello bag and the scrub and butter in 2 oz jars. i would like to put a small bar of soap if I have time.

I made the christmas tree m&p from soapqueen . posted picture of it in the fluant thread. I too plan on doing ornaments. plus other things like bodywashes and such. hopefully that helps you with ideas.

I think I have decided on my gifts. I'm going to do a 3D ornament, a soap angel(with white oxide color and silver glitter), and the bath fizzy and soap kit on BB. I am also going to (try) and make camo soap with an embedded loader in it.
I know that there are a lot of packaging ideas on FB right now. However, I am legally blind and it's hard for me to tell the details of some of the pics. Do any of you have any suggestions for how I can gift package these soaps that I want to make?

Sounds like you've got some great ideas, how fun!

For the 3D ornament, a clear cellophane bag with ribbon tied around it, or a clear cube box with shredded paper would be cute. For the angel, a soft organza bag would be nice.
The bath fizzy and soap would fit nicely into a cellophane bag too, again you could put some shredded paper in the bottom, and tie the top with a holiday ribbon and a cute hang tag. (I've posted a link on my blog to some cute printable tags I found online: )
If you have a round soap, Jenny from I'd Lather Be Soaping showed how to wrap the round soaps with coffee filters, they look really cute. I hope she doesn't mind me posting the link:

I just finished my first "trial" ornament! I hope that it turns out somewhat good. I was so nervous lol. I did the 3d ornament. I did the flower with gold mica and then the ornament red brick. Not sure how it is going to look. I wasn't crazy about the way the gold looked. I may need to add more mica to the next one. I will update when i check it in a few hours. Thanks again for the tips and advice

My ornament is done. It turned out pretty good, BUT I did the flower part of the 3d mold in gold and the rest of the ornament in brick red. Well, the gold flower is not gold at all. The entire ornament is the red brick. Why did this happen?? Was the soap too hold when I poured it? Did I not let the flower dry long enough b4 I poured the red? Help please.
