Happy Tuesday,

I hope folks on the East coast are safe and well.

For the life of me I can figure out why my soap in silcone molds get wrinkles on the top and how do I get rid of them.

I am so sorry, I think faster than I write. Let me try this again

Sometimes, when I use a silicone mold for bar soaps, the surface of my soap have little wrinkles/waves. No matter how much I spray it with alcohol, it still happens. Does this make sense?

Those are caused by mold movement while the soap is solidifying. Even a little jiggle to see if it is set will cause those wrinkles. Try putting the molds on a cookie tray when you pour the soap, then you can move the molds without disturbing the soap!
