 Post subject: burgandy soap

I am attempting to get an opaque burgandy color using the burgandy oxide. By the time i put enough in there the soap is thick. Should i dissolve it in glycerin first?

I'd put it in glycerin first, just to make sure you get a consistent color throughout your soap and no spotting. If your soap starts to harden before you're done coloring it, you can always reheat it to get it back to a liquid/pourable viscosity.
