So I made some CUTE embedded soaps tonight and normally I have been using my silicone molds however tonight I wanted to use the oval shape I had which is a hard plastic. Now I can't seem to get the soap out of the mold!!! I tried getting a knife to go around the edge, but that didn't work so well.

Any other suggestions??

I think this plastic mold needs to go. :-|

You could pop it in the freezer for just a bit. Or just let it sit overnight upside down.

Trying the freezer now.

I am totally bummed because they look so stinking cute in the mold!! Now only if they would come out and play! LOL

Just keep in mind that you may have some sweating after taking them out of the freezer.

When you use a plastic mold you have to pull on the sides and break the air lock, if you don't, you'll never get it out. Try putting it on the counter and then pressing down on the mold.
