 Post subject: Shelf Life of MP Soaps?

I am very new to soaping. I've done a few batches of MP (and LOVE it btw! :) ) and I am just wondering how long it will last before I "have" to use it. I've packaged the bars with plastic wrap and a heat gun.

I'm thinking about renting a table at a craft fair in November and am wondering if I make some soap now, if it would still be "fresh" enough to sell come November?

They will be just fine for November as long as you aren't adding things that can spoil or go rancid. I have some mp soaps from 5 years ago that are wrapped and in my closet. They haven't discolored and still smell great.

Ok...what things can spoil? I made some with cocoa powder (smells soo good!)...I'm assuming that could spoil?
