Not sure if this is the correct section for this, but I'm interested in using the activated charcoal in my MP soaps. I know it is used to color soaps a nice grey/black color, but are their actual benefits to using it? One of my favorite facial cleansers has charcoal in it, however I'm not sure if it is the same as the activated charcoal.

Activated charcoal is beneficial for acne prone or overly oily skin, but you cannot! make any medical claims if you are selling it.

I have used it in MP and my husband reports that he gets gray bubbles hehehe.

So I can list it as an ingredient, but can't say that it helps with certain skin issues? I definitely think I'm going to get some since I love how it smells/looks in my fave facial cleanser.
