Hi Everyone,
Is SFIC Low Sweat Melt & Pour Soap Base the same as SFIC Like Cold Process (LCP) Melt & Pour Soap Base?

hi there! long time cp'er but i've been tinkering around with sfic's low sweat here lately and i'm liking it so far...lathers really well in hard water...i believe i'll try a little water soluble shea butter in it next time i'm home to make it just a bit more conditioning...maybe 3-5%.

has anyone else tried adding a bit more butter to this? the reason i want to try the water soluble SB is it will actually cling to your skin much better than regular oils & butters in water applications...make fabulous emulsified bath oil, too.

Hi foxfire! I've never tried the water soluable shea, but if you do try it, don't go above 1 Tbsp PPO or you could start losing some of your lather and it could make your soap softer. :wink:

thank you for the info, and i'll keep that in mind...it may be awhile before i get a chance to try this since i just made the order, but will report back on my findings.
