ok I got a jellyroll pan thats 1.5 inches tall, 12 inches wide and 15 inches long.. Need to know how to find the volumne of it so I know how much Clear M&P I need for each layer that covers the bottom? and my brain is not working math wise. help?

is it the same for CP?
Cause for CP I usually multiply volume by density and for me density usually is 1.05.

I thought you used the L x W x H x .4 formula to figure out how many ounces of oils you used in a cold process formula, lol, i'm confused now! Could you just weigh some water in a container, pour some of the water from the container into you jelly roll pan then reweigh your the container with water and take the difference in before and after as what you used in the jelly roll? I think it would come out pretty close. Does that make sense to anyone? Why does something so simple have to be so hard, lol.

I just use a measuring cup and count the ounces as I go....let's say my measuring cup only holds 2 ounces of water. I pour that into my mold. Let's say I have to do this 3 times in order to fill the mold to the top, I know that my mold holds 6 ounces of liquid. HTH!!

Looking thru some books I have at work I found a conversion from cubic inches to ounces. 1 cubic inch= .55 ounces. L x W x H x .55 would be the formula. I'll probably never remember that again, so I'll just stick to my original way of doing it. :)
