How much EO to add to 1 lb of M&P?

Just wondering how much EO should be added to 1 lb. of base. ( by drops and teaspoons ) Also how are you supposed to do blends? do you blend them first then add to soap or do you just add them seperatly? Should they be blended in a carrier oil first?

Yep, the calculator is a good resource.

I mix my fo's & eo's ahead of time, at the latest I do it in the morning and soap it in the late afternoon. It gives it time for the scents to marinate together. Also, you don't have to put the eo's in a carrier oil, but if you do mix them with a little bit of oil it can help them stick in your soap, helping them from fading.

Teaspoons are not accurate. Get yourself a jeweler's scale. They are not that expensive. You can also use pipettes and go by ml's. Be aware that essential oils like cinnamon are only used in small amounts because they can irritate.
