Teach Soap

Hello,
I was recently started to try make soap, but after my soap goes into solid state it won't melt again. It melts a little bit but mainly burn.
I'm wondering why is this happening.
I mix tallow with lye and boil it 70-200 C even different proportions(and even using plant oils) don't give any better result.
Is there some ingredient in solid soap what causes burning or there is needed use other soap making process to make soap what melt easily?

Melt and pour soap is different from handmade soap made with tallow and lye. Melt & pour is made specifically to melt. Cold & hot process soap made with lye won't melt easily, but can be rebatched. You can find threads on rebatching under the cold process heading.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

There are two main types of soap.

1. Cold Process, which can be boiled or cooked (or not). This type of soap can be rebatched, but will not be as smooth as originally made. Rabatching soap is more the consistency of thick apple sauce or mashed potatoes. It will never be as smooth or as liquid as when it first started.

2. MP base, also called glycerin soap, will become liquid when melting. It can be remelted easily and will become a liquid again. It is best not to let this type of soap remelt too many times, as each time more moisture will evaporate. This can make the soap drying.
