I have a question.

I'm thinking about making some shampoo bars.

Now, when certain well known companies do them, they make them as syndet bars... so a bunch of surfectants made solid.

I'm usually a melt & pour soaper.

I'm wondering whether to get a nice lathery shampoo bar, (more lathery than your standard soap), I could do a bar part-syndet style, part-soap style, basically adding stuff to my melt & pour base. Does anyone have any good recipies for this kind of thing please? I'm thinking it would be good to get the best of both worlds.

Thanks!

MP base makes my hair dry and wiry. I have baby fine, straight hair. My hair prefers a straight syndet bar. You can find recipes for syndet bars here. http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.com/
