I haven't used oxides in M&P before and will be trying black powdered oxide this weekend. Can I just mix this in glycerin like other powdered colorants?

Pretty much but what you should you do is spritz about 10 sprays of rubbing alcohol is a container you use for soap and then mix the oxide or the mica. Then when you have it mixed you can pour it in the soap.
