Hi again,
I tried SFIC MP for the first time. I did a layer of crystal clear with a tattoo embed and a layer of goats milk under. First problem I had was not waiting long enough for the clear to harden before I put my tattoo on it, second problem was I needed to remelt and re pour the clear, I did not scent or color this layer. After I waited for it to cool and unmolded I was pleased at the way it came out. I let it continue to air dry and in the morning it was sweating a lot and the clear layer had what I would call a crystal layer on it. Is this normal for SFIC? The soap was also very soft. I live in the North East and it was a hot day when I made it. Should I leave it unwrapped to cure a few more days?
Thanks for your help.

Ok I'll give it a try.

1. Where are you? Florida, Dakotas what is the weather like where you live?
2. Where did you get the tattoo, is it soap safe?
3. Did the M and P have bubbles in it after you melted it?

Any and all of these things could effect your first layer to some degree or another.

Hi,
I live in New Hampshire, It has been hot and humid, I bought FDA approved skin safe rub on tattoos and there was no more bubbles when I poured first or second time then with other MP soap base I have used in the past. I bought the SFIC soap base on ETSY. I am wondering if it is old product gone bad.

Thanks

If it's hot and or humid where you are, MP soap can sweat. I would wrap the soap as soon as it's cooled off.
