Teach Soap

I made a bar of soap for my friend. A herb soap.
When I visited her after 2 weeks, I noticed the soap was sloppy in her soap dish.
The bottom was soft and runny.
Also some the soaps in my bathroom have beads of sweat.
I use 4oz bar, a little less than 1 tsp cream mixed with oils for my cream soaps.
For my herb soaps I use all of the above plus 4T tea.
This happened using low sweat soap.
What am I doing wrong?

I will have organic soap base soon.
How should I treat that.

I'm not ab m and p expert but putting cream into your melt and pour base is risky. The soap won't be saponifying, that chemical reaction happened before it became melt and pour. So your cream is rather a hindrance.

All soap needs to sit in a draining soap dish out of water and dry between uses to have a good life. Lying in a sloppy dish with water dissolves any soap, even detergent bars. Just my experience YMMD, your mileage may differ, or something like that saying!

I would not add any cream to a MP base either. Since the cream doesn't saponify, it will go sour and smell. Leave some milk out on your counter for a couple of days and smell it. I would not add any tea either. That's extra water that can seep out if there's any humidity in the air. Any soap needs to be kept away from direct water source and in a soap dish that drains well.

Can you treat cold process with creams and teas?
I really would like to stick with m&p as I am not happy working with lye.
So what can you do with m&p, besides color and fo?
That takes all the fun away.
