Teach Soap

I'm going to butt in a bit late here, but I've played around with this stuff a lot.

I've used it in an inkjet without spraying and it worked fine. I've never even read that it needed to be sprayed?
To make the image last the longest, put it in the center of the bar.
If your base boils even a little bit, don't use it for in front of the image, it will be cloudy.
The only time I've used a dark background (forest green, in this case) you could see the edges, even though I cut very close, and the colors were messed up a little; so I think it's best to stick with light colored backgrounds. (I was thinking a small layer of clear directly behind it, before the background color, might fix this but haven't tried it yet)

Yep. I've done that - the darker base behind a lighter background. Works!

I just picked up my embed prints from the lazer printer. They got one page printed and couldn't print anymore. I just wanted to compare the quality from the lazer printer with my pigment printer. The lazer printer is definitely sharper than my pigment printer, but not by much. I also used hairspray to set the ink.

I just received this on a Goggle Alert for Soap embeds. This looks interesting - Aquasol® Water Soluble Paper! It's under the last choice on the page templates.

Since Aquasol® Water Soluble Paper can be printed on, design transfer is quick and easy. The design is run through a copier onto paper. The water soluble paper is then used as a template for painting, stamping, mosaic, landscape and tile design. Messages and images can be imbedded inside clear glycerin soap for promotional items.
