Teach Soap

So I am in the middle of planning my wedding (July 4, 2010) and I was already planning on making candles but I have decided that I want to make soap too!

I want to get this mold to make embeds


but I'm not sure which mold I want to embed them in. there are a couple molds that i really like.

I like this one because I can do 9 at a time but I'm not sure exactly how big they are and its currently out of stock


this one could work too


I am really liking these Soapylove molds! but I would be doing one at a time.




what do you guys think? other mold suggestions? TIA!

Or you could use a silicone baking mould if you want to make a lot in one go. You can get muffin sized heart ones, with six or twelve cavities. They make really nice soap.

I was going to buy heart shaped silicone muffin cups around Valentines but I never picked any up I wonder if any place still has them

This might be a bit of a daft suggestion (but inspired by someone on another forum dreaming up a soap wedding cake and cutting that instead lol!) but what if you could find a large sillicon heart for baking with and then cutting the soap up on the day to hand out. A bit more trendy than just handing out little soaps I guess.

Anyway, just thought a big sillicon pan might be easier to find than smaller ones right now

They also have heart shaped ones at Michaels and Joann. You can always use those sale coupons they give out.

Aw, how nice! While this may not help you know, since you are still considering molds, I've always found pearly micas to be beautiful for wedding goodies.
Any kind of pearly shimmer to clear mp or gold shimmer to either white mp or clear, is always a nice sophisticated effect.
