Teach Soap

i have tried making transparent glycerine soap using ingredients that i found in internet.. i got my transparent soap but i wonder my my soap become not transparent at all after a few days..

somebody please help me..

What were the ingredients that you used? What was your formula? Have you made lye based soap before?

the ingredients :

1- coconut oil + palm oil + sunflower oil
2- Sodium hydroxide
3-stearic acid
4-sugar syrup
5-glycerine
6- alcohol
7-purified water

So you've used this recipe? Did you use a stick blender? Did you reach trace? Which type of alcohol did you use? Did you wrap the soap after it was done or left it unwrapped? Is it humid where you are? It's hard to tell what you did wrong with the little info that you provided.

Yes, i've used this recipe..i'm using 97% ethanol but i'm not using the stick blender.i'm just using magnetic stirrer..after adding lye solution into oils, it become hard..then i put it into water bath at about 80 degree C..then the mixture seems to be melted..then i add sugar syrup..after a few minutes, i add the mixture of glycerin and ethanol..last i pour it into the mould..after it was done i've wrapped the soap but then it still become not transprent at all..so sad...
